The Collegiate Academy, a small-scale, private international school in Ilsan, Goyang-si, is looking to hire a native English speaker or Korean teacher who can teach as the main social studies teacher for elementary~high school students.

Position: Social Studies Teacher (elementary~high school)
Starting date: September-December (negotiable)
Salary: 2.4~2.5 Million KRW per month (full-time) / Negotiable for part-time teachers
Hours: 9AM-5PM (Monday to Friday, full time) / Negotiable hours depending on availability and schedule (part time)
Age group: Elementary~high school
Subjects: social studies, geography, history (in English)
Small class sizes (5-10 students per class)
Location: Ilsan, Goyang-si
Housing (for full-time): Apartment provided (20 minutes from school by bus) or 500,000won (monthly housing allowance without deposit)
Medical Insurance and Pension (50% provided)
Paid vacation: 10 days (plus Korean national holidays)
Contract period: 1-year contract
Severance pay: One month salary paid after completion of contract
Benefits: 50% of National Pension & 50% of Health Insurance

A citizen of one of the 7 Native English Speaking Countries (Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, UK, USA) OR Korean citizen with strong English proficiency (CEFR C1 Level / TOEFL 95 / TOEIC 800)
